WEST END – Penthouse

My clients had lived with their existing kitchen for about ten years and felt it was now time to make the change to their dream kitchen. One of their priorities was to improve on the work surface area as their existing kitchen had one area at a lowered height, not functional at all. Being tall, both clients were keen to have their new ovens at eye level height. They wanted better quality storage and more of it.

As the kitchen space was partially open to the living room, we used colours to compliment their existing décor. Warm grey tones with contrasting dark wood tall housings.

The overall area being quite narrow we also used the Poggenpohl wall panelling with integrated shelving and accessories ideal for utensils, jar storage and accessories. Thus freeing up valuable worksurface space.

We noticed during our initial site survey that there were two large freestanding bins taking up valuable space. We therefore suggested an integrated solution for recycle waste freeing up floor space.

Also, by using the Bora Classic cooktops with integrated extraction also recessed into the worktop allowed us to use the space above the hob for wall unit storage, both practical and sleek in design.

With the kitchen being partially visible from the living area we positioned the wine fridge at one end of the run of units and highlighted this area with feature Buster and punch lighting. The lights can also be switched on independently to create a lovely ambiance.

It was a joy to visit our clients after the installation was complete to see how they are now benefiting from their new Poggenpohl kitchen. Using all the features and benefits to their full potential, truly is rewarding.
